Tesla has been at the shelter three months and the kennel is breaking him down. He came in as a stray who was good with another dog and easy in a home for the one day someone had him, but the concrete and noise have pushed him past what he can handle. What you're seeing now is not who he is.

What the shelter has seen
- Stray who pushed open a wooden gate, got himself captured with food by a kind stranger who saw him friendly with another large dog in the home during that one day
- Pulls hard on leash when he wants to investigate something, explored the yard with high energy, did play bows when handlers interacted with him
- Shuts down in the kennel—went from soft and wiggly one day to erratically jumping, snapping at the leash, lunging and getting mouthy with handlers the next as the shelter days stacked up
- Sat for treats during evaluations, allowed petting, yawned through the stress, walked back to his kennel without issue when calm
What Tesla needs
This is not a beginner's dog. Tesla needs an experienced handler who understands barrier frustration and kennel deterioration, a home with older kids only (12+), and proper decompression time to remember he's safe. He has four days.
