How long have you had the animal ? 8 DAYS. FINDER WAS LEAVING FOR WORK WHEN SHE WAS OPENING UP THE GATE AND THE DOG WOULD NOT MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. UPON APPROACH, THE DOG WAS FRIENDLY WITH A SOFT WIGGLY BODY. THE DOG ALLOWED ALL PETTING AND HANDLING. What are the cross streets where you found the animal? NEAR 75TH AVE AND DOBBINS AREA IN LAVEEN, AZ Is this animal currently showing any signs of illness, taking any medication, or has the animal been diagnosed with a medical or behavioral condition? NO Is animal spayed/neutered? UNK Has the animal shown any signs of aggression toward people or animals? NO Has the animal ever seriously injured or caused the death of another animal? Dog was closed to front half of kennel on approach during AM cleaning, presented leash, jumped up during placement of leash. Walked with a strong pull on leash to small PY. Did a shake off of body then would start to pace along fence line, panting heavy while salivating with whale eyes. Would not settle. Offered treats, would not be interested in scattered treats. Would continue to pace while nudging @ handlers legs with nose, not making mouth contact. Would jump up & bite towards handlers treat pouch, able to instruct dog to "SIT" then walk while shifting body to side to avoid dog from biting @ treat pouch again. Would do a shake off of body then started to pace along fence line again while panting heavy with mouth wide open & tail flagged. Would jump up onto bench then place front paws onto fence line, handler would pick up leash. Walked back to kennel with a hard pull on leash while keeping tail flagged, ears pinned back & panting heavy. Entered into kennel then removed leash with use of pre-attached clip leash as a precaution.

Handler was in area engaging with other dogs, noticed this dog standing very still, tense body language, hard-staring. Handler began walking over; dog lunged up, bit at gate several times while growling, then jumped down and began standing over food bowl. Dog had teeth bared, rigid posture. Handler tried verbally coaxing. Dog lunged up again with front feet on gate, alarm barking and baring teeth. Would not settle while handler was in view.
