Draco is a 60-pound five-year-old who came in when his person lost housing and couldn't keep him. He knows basic manners and lived peacefully with people, but the shelter environment has him wired tight, and his dog aggression is real and documented.

What the shelter has seen
- Sits on command, housebroken, crate trained, lived calmly with teenagers and allowed petting from kids
- Freezes, jumps toward kennels, and tries to fence-fight when he sees other dogs—this is dog aggression, not just reactivity
- Paces in the yard, ears back, panting hard, scanning the perimeter, struggling to settle even when he leans against a handler for pets
What Draco needs
Experienced handler only. No other dogs, no cats. This is not a beginner's dog and we will not pretend otherwise. New Hope Only—Draco must be pulled by a partner rescue by close of business September 16.
