9/16/2026 09/16/26 14:10 Canine is demonstrating withdrawn behavior and minimal response to interaction. Placement with a New Hope Partner is needed by close of business 9/21/26 to allow for observation and support in a more suitable environment. May be at risk for euthanasia 9/22/26 or sooner if warranted. Unknown which specific dogs were at large and involved in incidents.

Handler approached kennel front with assistant; Pulled both dogs at same time but separated for evaluation; Assistant handler leashed her dog first and lead handler stepped in and was able to place leash over head with ease; dog remained still and pancaked to ground; head to ground; handler pet gently and was able to carry dog to M&G room; Dog remained in handlers arms; didn't try to jump out of; remained calm as handler carried; once in room handler secured leash and allowed dog to roam; dog went and walked over to corner; sat in corner with soft stare; handler engaged in treat scatter; Dog would walk room but if handler tried to approach dog wouldn't eat treats; remained still and sat back in corner; Handler walked up to dog and dog didn't retreat away; remained sitting; allowed handler to pick up and place in lap; Handler pet dog for few minutes; Dog allowed; remained calm; tail neutral; soft stare; handler was able to pet all over with no issues; placed dog back down and dog just went back to corner; didn't eat anymore treats; handler allowed dog to sit and decompress; When time to go handler walked up again picked up and carried dog back to kennel; set both dogs in kennel ; unleashed by hand; no further issues; dogs greeted each other; licking faces

**Evaluated with kennel mate, A5171345** Handlers approached kennel front, dogs were loose and wiggly wagging tails and greeted at gate. When assistant handler began leashing attempts dog retreated towards back while kennel mate was able to be leashed. During leashing process of kennel mate dog came forward and took treats form assistant handler as well. Once kennel mate was leash handler was able to step in and place clip leash with slight avoidant. Handler then held leash taut and picked up dog with other hand. Handler was able to carry to M&G. Dogs were avoidant at first but continued to take hotdogs from handlers. Dog paced around glass walls and watched occupied kennels. Handlers tried to lure dog over to take treat from hand but dog would not approach. Handlers allowed dogs 10 minutes for decompression from kennel and then carried back to kennel. Handler was able to pet dog while carrying without issue and removed leash and placed in kennel on return.

AM Rounds: Canine came to the front of the kennel with a soft, wiggly, body. Handler bent down to front of kennel and canine solicited attention rubbing self on kennel door and licking handlers hand through the door.
