Dog approached handler with soft body and wagging tail, took treats gently. Easy to leash and walk to yard, ignored kenneled dogs in passing. Explored yard, nose to ground, neutral body, appeared interested as other staff walked by, soft body and wagging tail, dog eventually approached handlers, sat when offered treats, leaned into handlers and allowed petting all over. Handler picked up rope toy, dog played brief tug of war then lost interest, ignored tennis balls. Handler sat on bench, dog approached, forcefully jumped on lap then pushed off handler. Dog picked up leash and frantically shook, handler offered rope toy to try and redirect, dog played with rope toy briefly then grabbed leash again and began chewing, handler picked up leash, assistant handler was able to redirect briefly with treats, dog then jumped up multiple times and attempted to grab leash from handler, eventually settled and walk back to kennel, easy return, removed leash by hand.
10/14/2026
Greeted handler at front of kennel with soft wiggly body, wagging tail, accepted treats gently. Head shy with leash placement but will come forward to sniff leash allowing handler to place leash with no issues. Exited with some pulling on leash, soft tail wag and neutral soft body on walk to play yard, stop n go to sniff and mark. Once in yard dog would begin exploring with neutral soft body and loose tail wag, marking and sniffing around yard, high playful energy, will come to handler for quick pets but more interested in exploring, no interest in treats offered or tossed near. Took interest in rope toy, would play tug-o-war with handler, would drop rope toy and redirect attention towards leash, starts biting on leash but able to redirect attention back towards rope toy, dog would drop toy and have a moment of erratically spinning on ground while licking genital area but quickly redirected attention back to rope toy. Became overaroused while playing with rope toy and began redirecting towards handler, muzzle punched handler's stomach, jumping towards handlers face, fixated on jumping towards handler making repeated jumping attempts, tense wiggly body and wagging tail with eyes wide, mouthy towards handlers arm, able to quickly grab leash and direct dog away but dog began biting towards leash and pulling on leash when in mouth, walked dog over to fence and dog redirected attention towards walk back to kennel, able to place clip leash on walk with no issues. Wiggly soft body and loose tail wag back to kennel, entered kennel on own and used clip leash for leash retrieval.
